Accessibility statement
Last updated: (date to be set at publication)
This is a short, plain-language statement about how we build this site. It is a working draft, and we will expand it before launch.
Our commitment
We build this site to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. Our audience works in public education, where accessibility is a requirement, so we treat it as one here too.
What we do
- Semantic structure: real landmarks, one page heading, and headings in order.
- Keyboard operability: every control can be reached and used without a mouse.
- Visible focus: the focused element is always clearly outlined.
- Contrast: text and interface colors are chosen to meet the AA contrast ratios.
- Reduced motion: we respect the operating system setting that asks for less animation.
Report a barrier
If something on this site blocks you, tell us. Email hello@districtready.com with the page and what happened. We will reply and tell you what we plan to do about it.
Ongoing review
We review the site as it changes, and we fix what we find. This page has not been through a third-party audit, and we make no certification claim.
